Dans le but de financer l' achat de matériel roulant pour son principal corridor, la ligne Ressano Garcia railway, the African Development Bank (BAD) has allocated 40 million USD to the company public Mozambique Rail and Port Authority (CFM). This loan will finance the acquisition of 10 3000/3300 horsepower diesel-electric locomotives, 300 cars and 120 tank containers. The approval has been effective since January 30, 2024.
