Last Saturday, a workshop on the regional project on access to electricity and battery energy storage technology was organized under the cooperation between the National Electricity Company (SOMELEC) and the Community Economic of the States of West Africa (ECOWAS)

The two-day workshop on the regional project on access to electricity and battery energy storage technology aims to take stock of the project's implementation and to provide the necessary instructions to overcome the obstacles it faces. It will electrify 481 villages in five wilayas, such as Trarza, Brakna, Gorgol, Guidimakha and Assaba by the end of next year, with funding from the World Bank. with a financial envelope of 90 million
