On August 11, the Israel-Africa Chamber of Commerce and the CCIAD signed a document containing 14 articles. According to the information, the document has been validated for a renewable period of two years. For Michal Gur Aryeh, Director of Economic Affairs for Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, the signing of this agreement “marks an important step in relations between Israel and Senegal with a view to to bring the two economic sectors closer together.” “We hope that both sides will benefit from this agreement,” he hinted.

For her part, Ayala Wittner, CEO of the Israel-Africa Chamber of Commerce, considers that “the Israel-Africa Chamber of Commerce is the leader among Israel's bilateral chambers of commerce . It has more than 330 members among the leading companies in the Israeli ecosystem, and is already present in 34 African countries.”

The president of CCIAD, Abdoulaye Sow, for his part, announces that “Our dearest wish is to see Israeli companies come and invest in our country so that they can share their experience in fields as diverse and varied as agriculture, plastics, pharmaceutical products, high technology etc.”
