On Friday, March 8, 2024, the National Laboratory for Quality Testing, Metrology and Analysis (LANEMA) and the Oceanographic Research Center (CRO) signed a framework partnership agreement (CRO) signed a framework partnership agreement at LANEMA's headquarters.

The agreement signed between LANEMA and the CRO aims to encourage and promote collaboration in the field of research and technological innovation. According to Professor Koné Mawa, Director General of LANEMA, “the National Laboratory for Quality Testing, Metrology and Analysis whose vision is to enable partnerships to be established with the technical structures that abound in Côte d'Ivoire has decided to approach the Center for Oceanographic Research (CRO) so that these two structures can combine their efforts to benefit Côte d'Ivoire.”

Pour sa part, Professor Ouattara Bafétigué, director of the Center for Oceanological Research, indicated that “the themes of the CRO, namely, coastal erosion, climate change, physical functioning, hydrochemistry, ecosystem ecology, ecosystem ecology, rational management of living aquatic resources and aquaculture are priority areas that respond to the challenge of sustainable socio-economic development both nationally and internationally
