The national transport conference was initiated by Sautoc and organized by Ci event last Thursday, November 17 at the UEMOA-CRAE space. It was a forum for discussion on the theme of national mobility and innovation in the transport sector.

Several reforms have been implemented by the Ivorian government in the transport sector over the past few years in order to sanitize and rejuvenate the car fleet. These reforms allowed for exponential growth, leading to several innovations in this sector. Innovations have led to a change in the habits of populations and in their mobility.

However, the will of the State has been limited by known flaws in the sector that are exploited contrary to the vision of the sector. Thus, it is now essential to evaluate this sector and propose techniques to facilitate safe investment while allowing populations to move around better with peace of mind. A problem that leads to the national conference on transport.

Several themes were addressed on this occasion. These include the “Renewal of the car fleet, what solutions for efficiency? ”; “Technological innovation at the service of road safety”; “The lagoon lake, a boon for mobility in Abidjan”; then the “Modernisation of public transport: how to get there?” ”.
