The Gabon Guarantee Company (SGG) launched on the 29th Last January the individual guarantee, a device that now allows entrepreneurs to contact SGG directly in order to present their projects, in contrast to the previously preferred portfolio guarantee.

SGG aims to strengthen bankability viable projects by sharing the risk with financial institutions, while maintaining rigorous requirements. The SGG intends, through this new guarantee, responding to a reality that requires that without adapted mechanisms and innovative, access to credit for SMEs remains one of the weak links in Gabonese economic development.

Since its inception in November 2022, the SGG highlights eloquent numerical results. Thus 12.6 billion CFA francs in guarantees signed, catalyzed 22,638 billion CFA francs in financing, for the benefit of 288 SMEs/SMIs, for about 3 575 direct and indirect jobs created, in partnership with seven institutions financial. Data that the structure uses to demonstrate its role increasing in the financing of the national economy.
