The G5 Sahel Executive Secretariat organized from 8 to 9 November 2023 in N'Djamena an awareness-raising and ownership workshop, as part of the establishment of a Geographic Information System (GIS) at the Permanent Headquarters of the G5 Sahel. The opening took place at the Friendship Hospital in N'Djamena

L'atelier de sensibilisation et d' appropriation a pour objectif to raise awareness among all actors involved in the implementation of the GIS in order to promote the ownership of this tool throughout the G5 Sahel space. Indeed, GIS is a computer system composed of hardware, software, and processes designed to allow the collection, management, manipulation, analysis, modeling, and display of spatially referenced data in order to solve complex geographic data layout and management problems.
