After an exchange between Team Europe and Prime Minister Patrick Achi, on 19 October 2022 in Abidjan, information was given that the Europe team d& decided to mobilize an amount of 450 million euros to support the Ivorian strategy to strengthen the sustainability of the cocoa value chain. This team is composed of the European Union, the member states of the European Investment Bank (EIB), in association with Switzerland.

A mechanism and legislation have been put in place by Côte d'Ivoire to refine Côte d'Ivoire's strategy for sustainability& Peacao; cocoa according to the head of government. According to Patrick Achi, this national strategy is based on three fundamental pillars, including the protection and preservation of the forest, the improvement of producers' incomes and the issue of child labour on plantations, and the improvement of producers' incomes. . In terms of actions to promote the sustainability of cocoa, for the Prime Minister, significant progress has been made.
