INP-HB and the Auchan group signed an agreement in March 2022, with the aim of contributing to strengthening the human and economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire. However, on Thursday, October 27, 2022, the Ivorian institution launched a new sector intended to train retail professionals.

INP-HB, Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny has launched a special professional training program in “retail management”. This program is the result of collaboration between the institution and the company Auchan Retaille Côte d'Ivoire and is the first professional license dedicated to potential jobs offered by retail. It is set up to better meet the needs of the labour market and to promote the integration of young graduates in a sector in full evolution.

For INP-HB, “By sharing their knowledge and know-how at the service of the professional integration of young graduates, INP-HB and Auchan Retail Côte d'Ivoire wish & also participate in the economic and social development of Côte d'Ivoire.” According to him, “It is in fact by consolidating activities with high potential, such as large-scale distribution, that we enable agricultural sectors to better structure themselves, local businesses to have commercial outlets or even to the economy in general of be structured and modernized while offering jobs to young people.”
