Monday, November 7, 2022, was the start date for work on the technical phase of the 8th edition of L&'s annual review of community reforms, policies, programs and projects Rsquo; West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). On the menu there were 127 reforms and 15 community projects and programmes to be examined by the experts.

To promote the acceleration of the implementation of community reforms, policies, programmes and projects within the Union as part of the deepening of the community Regional integration is the main objective of the work of the 8th review, which lasted three days. Indeed, while the reforms are up by 11 texts compared to 116 in 2021, according to Bamba Ngaladjo, technical advisor representing the Ivorian Minister of Economy and Finance, 13 new texts have been introduced into the grid and relate to the customs union, human development and social without ignoring the two new areas of culture and tourism, and energy.

With regard to the implementation of projects for fiscal year 2021, Bamba noted significant progress in Côte d'Ivoire in several areas despite the situation in the COVID-19 and global inflation. This time, their cost is estimated at 59.439 billion CFA francs and concerns the fields of agriculture, livestock, fisheries, environment and water, handicrafts, energy, industry, tourism, telecommunications and ICT, and the development of Community territory and transport.
