Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement a conclu le vendredi 13 octobre 2023 à Abidjan un accord à l' amiable avec Unik Construction Engineering (Pty) Limited. This agreement was concluded in order to put an end to the sanctions procedure for corrupt practices against him.

Unik Construction Engineering (Pty) Limited is subject, in accordance with the agreement signed last Friday, to a non-conditional exclusion for a period of 12 months, starting October 11, 2023. According to the investigation conducted by the Bank Group Integrity and Anti-Corruption Office, the company engaged in corrupt practices during a tender for the construction of a raw water pumping pipeline, a water treatment plant and treated ascending line, as well as the construction of treated gravity pipes, storage tanks, and a distribution network.
