The implementation and monitoring of environmental safeguards instruments is one of the current priorities of the State of Côte d'Ivoire. Experts from the African Development Bank (AfDB) expressed Thursday in Abidjan the institution's commitment to Côte d'Ivoire for better environmental safeguarding.

The issue of environmental and social safeguards is an important part of the country's development. During a meeting in Abidjan, the AfDB's Deputy Director General for the West Africa region, Joseph Martial Ribeiro, stressed the implementation and monitoring of environmental safeguard instruments.  of Côte d'Ivoire.
