In collaboration with the Italian car manufacturer Iveco, the Société des Transports d'Abidjan (SOTRA) plans to switch to the production of electric vehicles in its minibus assembly unit.

Gauthier Ricord, CEO Africa Middle East at Iveco Bus said the partnership between SOTRA and Iveco constitutes a new stage in the development of activities in this production chain. He says he is happy with the partnership between his company and Sotra, with whom they already manufacture buses. “We will continue our development actions by providing support for electro-mobility” he said.
