The Togolese capital will host the African Microfinance Week in October 2023. The event will be held every two years and should bring together microfinance actors from the continent for 5 days.

Several themes are planned during the meeting dedicated to actors and professionals in inclusive finance. Among others, there will be investors, MFIs, researchers, banks, networks, innovators and governments. “The challenges of inclusive finance in Africa” will be the main theme around which the exchanges will focus.

It should be noted that the previous editions of the African Microfinance Week were held in Tanzania (2013), Ethiopia (2015), Senegal (2017), Burkina Faso (2019) and Rwanda (2021).
