Senegal proceeded, this Friday, to an issue of bonds by auction in the amount of 57 billion. According to the Ministry of Finance and Budget, this operation concerns a maturity of ten years.

On the bids received of 68 billion CFA francs, corresponding to a coverage rate of 123 %, an amount of 57 billion CFA francs was selected with a weighted average rate 5.82 % versus a market-weighted average rate of 6.14 %.

For the national authorities, these results reinforce Senegal's position as a reference state issuer and constitute a positive sanction for investors for the quality of our policies and the macro-fiscal framework.
