20,9%. This is the additional rate of turnover of the Senegalese industry in the first quarter of 2022. This rate shows progress compared to the same period a year ago, according to Senegal's National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD). One of the factors explaining this performance is the improvement in the indicator observed in all sub-sectors. Similarly, an increase of 38.5% was recorded in the extractive industries. This performance is explained by the simultaneous increase in sales of metal ores (+33.5%) and other industrial products.
