Senegal's growth rate in 2020 was stopped at 1.5% against -0.7% initially forecast under the Priority, Adjusted and Accelerated Action Plan (PAP2A). For the Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, Amadou Hott, progress in Senegal has avoided the recession observed in several countries.
According to the press release, this improvement is due to two factors. This involves controlling the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic, implementing economic support measures and resuming activities during the second quarter of 2020.
