On a trip to Washington, Senegalese Finance Minister Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo obtains 180 billion FCFA in financing from the World Bank. It was on the occasion of the Spring Meetings in Washington.

The Minister for Finance and Budget led a delegation to the Spring Meetings in Washington and met with UK investors in London. At the end of his mission, the Minister of Finance and Budget concluded a budget support of 300 million dollars from the World Bank, or about 180 billion CFA francs that will be disbursed in one go, marking the largest amount made available in all series of budget support. Senegal will also have access to financing from the new $100 billion Resilience and Sustainability Fund approved by the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund.
