On Friday, September 29, 2023, the ordinary session of the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held at the headquarters of the institution. The consular elected officials for the 2020-2025 term of office of CCI Benin met to review and adopt the 2024 fiscal year budget

At the beginning of her speech, Minister Alimatou Shadiya Asouman stressed that this budget session is being held at a time when the country is on several strategic development fronts in accordance with the guidelines of the Head of State. Despite économie global contingencies, the minister noted that Benin is becoming more and more resilient thanks to the numerous reforms undertaken, but also thanks to the CCI-Benin which remains a major player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and in économie Benin. Thus, the Minister recommended that their budgetary forecasts for the activities scheduled for fiscal year 2024 include an evaluation of the objectives set for them by the government
