C'était le 14 décembre dernier que le Conseil d' administration du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé à Abidjan, un prêt de 74.25 million euros in Cameroon.

The ADB intends to enable Cameroon to have a critical mass of qualified personnel who can serve across the entire electricity sector value chain. This loan will allow the implementation of the first phase of the Support Programme for the Recovery of the Electricity Sector (PARSEC). According to Serge N'Guessan, Director General, Central Africa Region and Head of the African Development Bank Country Office in Cameroon, “this program allows the African Development Bank to provide added value in its support for the recovery of the electricity sector in Cameroon. It benefits from significant leverage effects through its coordination with various plans for the recovery of the electricity sector. These various actions, carried out within the framework of a high-level dialogue with the government, are likely to make the Bank a partner of choice for Cameroon.”
