Félix Moloua, Prime Minister of the Central African Republic, announced on Thursday, November 9, that the African Development Bank (AfDB) donated more than 3 billion CFA francs to the Central African government.

The Central African government and the ADB have signed a financing contract in order to strengthen the capacities of certain public institutions. According to the Central African Prime Minister, the 3 billion CFA francs granted by the ADB will be used to develop activities in certain state institutions, including the Minister of Finance and the Court of Auditors, in order to properly monitor the resources that the State uses

According to the latter, the Central African government aims to strengthen the capacities of institutions to mobilize domestic resources in a difficult global context where the country is struggling to mobilize funds to meet its needs.
