The coordinator of the System for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption and Similar Offences (SPACIA) Ba Fatoumata announced on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 that the platform recorded 469 reports from January to October, 356 of which constituted alleged acts of corruption and similar offenses. It was during a press conference devoted to the first review of the structure.

SPACIA has recorded 469 reports during the test phase, from January to October, since the official launch by Prime Minister Achi Patrick in July. Of the 469 reports, 11 were registered through the toll-free number (1345), 58 through the digital platform and 100 by physical mail. After processing and analysing these reports, it was revealed that 356 of the reported cases constitute alleged acts of corruption and similar offences and that 113 are not, but rather are linked to malfunctions in the public administration.
