From Tuesday, July 19 to Thursday, July 21, 2022, a symposium was held in Cotonou around the theme "Agricultural Technologies & Innovations: Climate Smart Solutions for the Transformation of Emergency and Post-Emergency Situations".

The overall objective of the meeting is to take stock of agricultural research for development (AR4D) in West and Central Africa (WCA). It is an opportunity for participants to reflect and exchange on the achievements of AR4D to capitalize in the region, as well as on the gaps to fill. The meeting is aligned with one of the main objectives of the TARSPro project, which aims to ensure a coalition and synergy of actions of actors in the transformation of agriculture. The symposium was also an opportunity to strengthen the commitment of project stakeholders at the regional level, through the establishment of the regional steering committee.
