The annual report of the Commission of Communications from Eswatini (ESCCOM) mentions that the sector's revenues have increased by 6% from 2,567,611,989 E to 2,708,107,594 E during the fiscal year 2023/24

During fiscal year 2024/25, the total turnover at current prices generated by the industry of telecommunications continued its upward trend. This growth has been driven by the solid performance of mobile network operators (MNOs) and fixed network operators (ORFs). ORM turnover has increased by 5%, reaching €2,338,122,162 against €2,218,437,877 the previous year, while the figure ORF business increased to 369,985,432€ against 349,174,111€ during the fiscal year 2023/24.

In fiscal year 2024/25, employment in the telecommunications sector experienced a modest recovery, increasing by 0.3% to reach 957 employees, compared to 954 during the year 2023/24. This slight growth was mainly due to a 3% increase in employment with fixed network operators, which rose from 668 to 691 the previous year.
