The Fund for Export Development in Africa (FEDA) makes its first investment in Liquid Intelligent Technologies. The announcement was made by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) announced that this first investment focuses on development impact, and provides equity and quasi-equity financing to companies developing trade and export of value-added goods and services in Africa. This investment offers FEDA the opportunity to become a stakeholder in Africa's rapidly expanding technology infrastructure landscape in which Liquid is a leading player. With a fiber optic network currently spanning more than 100,000 km in sub-Saharan Africa, one of the fastest growing regions of the world, Liquid has direct access to the international submarine cable infrastructure as well as significant investments in data centers. on the continent. Liquid is the only operator in sub-Saharan Africa to have a fiber optic network covering several countries with such a geographical scope. Liquid's infrastructure therefore facilitates intra- and extra-African connectivity, thus reducing the cost of communications and trade, in line with the mandate of FEDA and Afreximbank.
