The DRC Agribusiness Forum (Forum on agribusiness in the Democratic Republic of Congo) was held a few days ago in Kinshasa. During the event, the various interventions mainly focused on government reforms aimed at developing the agricultural sector and accelerating transformation.

The DRC has re-committed to carrying out reforms to structurally transform its agricultural sector, and to launch a taskforce including stakeholders and several ministerial departments to ensure the implementation of the Forum's recommendations. Indeed, the DRC Agribusiness Forum, which saw the participation of the International Finance Corporation style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, “serif""> (SFI) and the ADB, first revealed the ambition of the Congolese government to invest 6.6 billion USD over 10 years to successfully “feed Africa” as part of its Agricultural Transformation Program.
