Air Côte d'Ivoire has just fulfilled the desire of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara and Guinea Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo to take the relationship between these two West African countries to a new level. The company has opened a new air route to Guinea Bissau.

The inaugural flight Abidjan - Bissau took place on Thursday, June 2, 2022 with on board, the Ivorian Minister of Transport Amadou Kone who thanked the President of Guinea Bissau for his commitment to strengthen cooperation ties between the two states.In addition to its 6 national destinations (Abidjan, Bouake, San Pedro, Man, Korhogo and Odienne), Air Côte d'Ivoire has been serving since its 1st flight in November 2012, nearly 17 airports in the sub-region. Thus with this opening of the route with Guinea-Bissau, Air Côte d'Ivoire brings to 18 the list of its African service.

The company has 10 aircraft, including 6 Airbus A320 family with 120 to 150 seats and 4 Q400 bombers with 67 seats for local services. Air freight has increased from 24,000 tons of goods in 2020 to 26,000 tons in 2021, an increase of 7.7%.
