Air Peace, Nigeria's first airline has made its maiden flight to Cameroon. The country will now be served by three weekly flights, from Lagos and Port Harcourt, said Stanley Olisa, the company's spokesman. The first aircraft was received by the company on January 27, 2021. The arrival in the Cameroonian skies of this Nigerian airline, which currently operates a fleet of about twenty aircraft, diversifies the air transport offer in the country. This, in the aftermath of the first and second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, which has washed away the air transport sector around the world. In Cameroon, for example, as a result of this pandemic, the number of travelers fell by 62% in 2020, according to the "Statistical Bulletin 2019-2020" of the Aeronautics Authority (CCAA in English).
