In partnership with the state government, Oando Clean Energy Limited said in a new update on the planned deployment of its electric transport buses in common in Lagos.

He added that the proof of concept for electric buses The rollout in Lagos would begin in January next year.

The federal government has however called for the collaboration of private sector actors in the implementation of the 2021 law. This law is based on climate change.

On April 28, 2022, a memorandum of understanding was signed by Oando in collaboration with the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) to introduce the digital transport bus in common to Lagos, Nigeria's commercial nerve center.
