In order to better protect consumers and users, a survey on the risks associated with the use of digital financial services (DFS) has been launched in Dakar. The aim is to strengthen public confidence, ensure the rebalancing of relations between users and providers and provide a basis for decision-making support to the authorities.

The survey is specifically related to the uses of digital financial services such as issuers of electronic currencies, electronic banking, users of Gabs, internet banking (...), everything that is mobile money. According to the executive secretary of the OQSF, Habib Ndao, the investigation will start next week and will be done from the phone over a period of one month with mobile money users. This program will make it possible to identify all the bottlenecks for better protection of users of financial services in the digital environment.
