As part of the sale of the floating production, storage and unloading unit (FPSO) Abo, the Norwegian oil service provider BW Offshore announced, the closing of an agreement with STAC Marine Offshore Limited, a company active in Nigeria. It was last Friday, September 15.

The FPSO Abo operating contract has undergone several extensions in view of a potential sale of the oil infrastructure. STAC acquires FPSO Abo for 20 million. In addition, BW Offshore is expected to continue its activities on the facility for a period of two months as part of a bare hull charter contract
