It is scheduled from 3 to 5 March 2026 in Lagos, the outfit of the Summit and Exhibition on Industrialization, Manufacturing and trade in West Africa (West Africa IMT 2026). The trade growing intra-African countries and the new impetus given to industrial expansion in West Africa will be at the heart of the Summit.

West Africa IMT 2026 supported by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and organized by dmg Nigeria events, is positioned as a platform to examine How policy harmonization can lead to growth concrete manufacturing.

The event comes as integration regional trade is beginning to redesign the industrial prospects of the subregion. Based on recent data from Nigerian customs , Nigeria's exports to African markets grew by 14% to reach 4.820 billion naira, of which more than 60% is intended to West Africa. In Ghana, the first positive effects of the policy government economy operating 24 hours a day were found in pilot industrial areas, especially in the light production area of Tema, where production and night employment increased.

According to the Minister of State for Industry, Commerce and at Investment, John Enoh, industrialization remained essential to the economic future of Nigeria and to regional prosperity.

According to the latter, the The summit is part of Nigeria's industrial program and the broader objective of strengthening regional trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). He also said that” industrial growth is not only an economic imperative; it is the foundation for job creation, skills development and of sustainable prosperity.”
