Cameroun.The project “Yaoundé cœur de ville” project mainly aims to relieve traffic congestion in downtown Yaoundé but also to improve quality travel and promote the use of public transport. The structural works include the development of three nerve junctions, as well as the construction of two new bus stations. According to the Yaoundé Urban Community (CUY), the work will include the construction of a new bus station to accommodate interurban
carriers.The Elig-Effa junction will also be developed, with the redevelopment of the Mokolo bus station, another strategic point in the city. This project, which is part of a larger initiative carried out by the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS), developed and adopted in 2019 by the CUY project, benefits from an overall financing of 54.7 billion FCFA detailed as follows. 46.2 billion FCFA come from the Debt Reduction and Development Contract (C2D) managed by the French Development Agency (AFD), and 8.5 billion FCFA are provided directly by the & State of Cameroon
