216 Capital announced on Tuesday that the startup Juridoc completed a funding round led by venture capital firm 216 Capital and portfolio management firm Go Big Partners to support its development in West Africa and the Middle East.

Juridoc covers Tunisian and Senegalese law as well as the regulations of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), the West African Economic and Monetary Union ( UEMOA ) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Thanks to this fundraising, Juridoc plans to democratize access to legal information in new markets by making the law more accessible, structured and effective. The funds raised will make it possible to strengthen its technological infrastructure, to optimize the performance of its AI-based search engine, to enrich its database with content adapted to the local specificities of new markets and to support its commercial and marketing efforts to accelerate the adoption of the platform.

It was founded in 2021 and simplifies access to legal resources through a comprehensive database integrating legislation, jurisprudence, doctrine and legal intelligence.
