An international seminar organized to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the Establishment Agreement between Morocco and Senegal opened on Monday, April 7, 2025 in Rabbat. Several political, diplomatic, economic and academic figures were present.

The meeting, which opened yesterday, is organized at the initiative of the “Timbuktu Institute—African Center For Peace Studies” in partnership with the International University of Rabat (UIR) and the Caisse de dépôt et de gestion (CDG) . According to the Deputy Minister in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, who was speaking at the opening, Rabat and Dakar are driven by the desire to make Africa a major player in global governance in terms of artificial intelligence (AI).
