The first edition of the Cote d'Ivoire Credit and Financing Fair (SCRED) is scheduled from 25 to 26 July 2025 in Abidjan. According to a press release, the event will focus on the theme “Access to credit: an essential driver for the development of businesses and the Ivorian economy

Le premier SCRED will bring together professionals from the financial sector, banking institutions, financial technology companies (fintechs), investors and institutional partners. It aims to promote financial inclusion, facilitate access to credit and finance, encourage investment, promote exchanges and partnerships, and promote financial technologies. This large-scale event will allow participants to discover financing solutions adapted to the needs of individuals, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), as well as large companies operating in Côte d'Ivoire.

Conferences led by experts in the financial sector, practical sessions to help companies better understand financing solutions, to become familiar with financial technologies and to optimize their financing procedures, networking sessions between exhibitors, investors and other players in the sector as well as stands dedicated to exhibitors to present their credit and financing solutions and technological innovations in the banking and financial sector are among others planned during the July meetings.

It should also be noted that the SCRED is an opportunity for professionals working in the banking, microfinance, meso finance, meso finance, investment funds and others sectors to promote their financing offers. It is a strategic platform to stimulate the financing of Ivorian economic actors, strengthen credit culture and encourage financial innovation.
