Le jeudi 17 avril 2025, le gouvernement du Liberia a procédé au lancement de sa première retraite des partenaires au développement ( Development Partners Retreat DPR) in Monrovia.

The Liberian government aims to mobilize 8.3 billion dollars to finance its 2025—2029 national development plan, called the “Arrest Agenda for Inclusive Development” (AAID). The meeting held last Thursday was under the theme “Strengthening partnerships for the implementation of the National Plan of Liberia — AAID”. It has consolidated strategic alliances, aligned national priorities and explored innovative financing mechanisms. The AAID program aims to transform Liberia into a lower middle income country by 2029. It is based on inclusive growth, the strengthening of infrastructures, better governance, and the valorization of natural and human resources, in a logic of sustainable exit from poverty and post-conflict resilience
