The 32nd ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the African Solidarity Fund (FSA) closed its curtains on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Dakar, under the presidency of the Minister of Budget and Governor of the FSA for Senegal, under the presidency of the Minister of Budget and Governor of the FSA for Senegal, Cheikh Diba.

Under the leadership of Mr. Abdourahmane Diallo, the FSA has strengthened its role as a key player in economic development in Africa. In 2024, the institution obtained the status of Specialized Agency of the African Union, a recognition that strengthens its position in financing development in Africa.

In addition, the FSA was honored in January 2025 with the title of “Best Development Actor 2024" at the National Development Information Fair (SANID) in Niamey, Niger, in Niamey, Niger, underlining its commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
