The CDC of Cameroon and Gabon, the only institutions of this type currently operational in Cemac, oppose total supervision by Cobac.

In a press release published on April 17, 2025, the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations du Cameroun (CDEC) confirms the persistence of differences between the parties on the issue of supervision of CDC activities by the Central African Banking Commission (Cobac).
