In Benin, the energy transition in the automotive sector is taking a new turn with the arrival of the Chinese brand BYD, introduced by CFAO Mobility. Speeches, a screening and the unboxing of the first models of BYD vehicles furnished this meeting with the press. At the opening, Étienne Audeoud, CEO of CFAO Mobility, emphasized the importance of this new stage for CFAO Mobility and for Benin. “We are all witnessing an unprecedented transformation in global mobility, driven by environmental concerns and technological innovations,” he said. Indeed, the BYD Dolphin is a 100% electric city car with a range of 340 km. It is distinguished by its rounded design, its interior comfort, its modern equipment such as the rearview camera, LED lights and an interactive screen. It is intended for urban and peri-urban use. While the BYD Atto 3 is a compact SUV with a range of 420 km. Its 15 cm ground clearance makes it ideal for the roads of Benin. It is equipped with cutting-edge equipment: 360° camera, driving aids, a 15-inch rotating screen and a high-end interior

In addition to these two models, CFAO Mobility has announced the upcoming arrival of new vehicles, including the BYD 100+, a plug-in hybrid SUV with a range of 1000 km, combining electric motor and combustion engine, and the BYD TANG, a high-end, spacious and powerful 7-seater SUV, which will complete the range.
