An entrepreneurship training workshop, EBT, has been ongoing since Monday, April 28, 2025 in Lagos. The 3-day workshop is organized in favor of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the solar energy sector. The workshop builds on a similar training course organized in March 2025 in Abuja, where 50 SMEs were equipped with essential skills. For the Lagos edition, ROGEAP and Ecobank are forming 100 SMEs, one of several strategic efforts aimed at building business capacity and accelerating the adoption of autonomous solar solutions in off-grid communities. Since yesterday, participants have been deepening their understanding of the off-grid solar energy value chain, quality assurance standards, environmental and social risk management practices, and the development of viable business models.
