On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the Special Investigative Control Chamber (CSCI) of the Court for the Suppression of Economic and Financial Offences (CRIEF) ordered the provisional release of three officers indicted and detained at the Central House in Conakry since December 7, 2024.

Sued for forgery and the use of forgeries in public and authentic writings, corruption, attacks on the Customs computer system, illicit enrichment, cybercrime, cybercrime, concussion and complicity, colonels Fadensen Keïta, Ousmane Oularé and Mohamed Baba Bamba would be free to move. The Special Investigative Chamber (CSCI) of the Court for the Suppression of Economic and Financial Offences (CRIEF) decided the case between the Special Prosecutor's Office of the said Court and the latter. The defense denounced what it considered to be illegal detention, while the prosecutor's office pleaded for the need to keep the officers in prison in view of the complexity of the case, in order to allow the inspectors in charge of the investigation to carry out their

work.

In his verdict, President Aboubacar Conté recalled that when an accused is released ordered by the Special Investigative Control Chamber, this decision is binding on the Investigative Chamber, notwithstanding the appeal filed by the Special Prosecutor.
