On 22 and 23 December 2022, a review and evaluation workshop of the Emergency Programme for the Rehabilitation and Recovery of Rice Activities in the Tonkpi, Guémon and Cavally Regions (PURRAR-TGC) was held in Man, on the initiative of the Agency for D& Development of the rice sector (ADERIZ).

The coordinator of the PURRAR-TGC project, Bakayoko Moussa informed to enter that the project is at its peak that it “was important with all the beneficiaries, the project stakeholders to take stock after these years of implementation, and see What have been achieved, what are the improvements and what are the corrections to be made with a view to a second phase”.

En effet, le PURRAR-TGC est au lendemain de la grave crise post-électorale de 2010 sous l' appui financier de la West African Development Bank ( BOAD ) . It was set up to facilitate the return of populations who had taken refuge in Liberia, relaunch rice production and the upgrading of local cereals, and to contribute to the consolidation of peace and social cohesion in the mountain district.
