Corruption undermines almost all sectors of Cameroonian society and the country's police comes first according to the results of a survey by the Association for Community Development in Cameroon (ADECAM).

Adecam has launched surveys taking into account the opinions of ordinary citizens, public transport vehicle drivers and economic operators in Cameroon etc. on the currency of services . Since the questionnaires are included in the survey form, the degree of corruption by police sector is graded from 1 to 10. The number 10 indicates the degree of extreme corruption and 1 indicates that there is no corruption.

The judicial system is in second place among the most corrupt sectors in the country, the education system, the third with corruption in access to & Very complicated public schools, not to mention the major schools, particularly the PTT, the Police, the Cuss, the Ecole Normale... despite the institution of entrance examinations. The health services and the political parties represented in the National Assembly and in the communes are not immune to practice.

According to the survey's revelations, this list of institutions where corruption reigns in the country illustrates the alarming picture of this scourge, which will be difficult to combat, given that 2/fifths of Cameroonians believe that obtaining any service necessarily involves bribes.
