In order to steal cryptocurrencies, North Korean hackers are multiplying cyberattacks. This time around, they are developing a new method of phishing.

Impersonate large banking groups like Bank of America (BOA) and the Japanese institution Sumitomo Mitsui, or for venture capital firms. It is now the new method of North Korean hackers. Indeed, the UK-based cybersecurity company Kaspersky revealed on Tuesday the list of more than 70 fake domains created in this way by the North Korean hacking group BlueNoroff.

According to Kaspersky, a user from the United Arab Emirates, who was part of the sales department responsible for signing housing contracts, had been a victim. BlueNoroff must therefore pursue this type of cyberattacks to steal cryptoassets.
