The Ivorian government has been multiplying actions to promote the employability of young people through ICT for several years. This year, the government's actions are focusing on creative technologies and the digital economy so as to create more values and more jobs for young people.

The government will be more active this year on themes related to youth concerns. Indeed, it will be a question of training and employability, project financing, and sports infrastructures. The year is therefore declared the year of youth, and will be devoted in particular to digital technology. On December 31, 2022, the President of the Republic announced in his address to the nation that “the establishment of an incubator for innovation and entrepreneurship to catalyze the creative genius of young people, and accelerate the development of startups.”

Digital technology is at the origin of new innovative sectors. Economic growth and digital growth are increasingly linked. Thus, transformation is a solution to the employability of young people. The Minister of Communication and the Digital Economy, Amadou Coulibaly announced: “our country's ambition is to ensure that the digital economy is a promising sector through the creation of jobs for youth and the promotion of investments.”
