To address this, regional institutions are preparing to set up a support instrument. On the sidelines of the International Digital and Innovation Forum (FONI 2022), which opened for two days this Thursday, May 5 in Lomé, the boss of Afrik Créances, Blaise Ahouantchedé lifts a corner of the veil on the 1st Regional Single Window and an impulse fund for SMEs and SMIs (GURFI).

He announced the establishment of the 1st Regional Single Window and an impulse fund for SMEs and SMIs, a unique initiative to support African businesses. The structure, with a regional vocation, could take care of financing issues, according to this expert in the sub-regional banking sector, help operators in access to financing for cross-border initiatives, and "constitute an integration instrument that accompanies actors to access financing".
