Organized by the Administrative Authority of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Nkok in the Gabonese capital, the 1st Forum of Administrative Management Bodies of African Economic Zones (FOGAZEA) will take place from 2 to 3 February 2023 in Libreville.

“ Cohesion and Association of the administrative management bodies of the African Economic Zones, at the service of the economic performance of the continent” is the theme planned for this occasion, according to information published on an internet platform of the Administrative Authority of the African Economic Zone Nkok Special Economic Zone (SEZ) created for the occasion. 200 participants are expected, including ministers in charge of economic zones.

On the menu of this meeting, participants will have work sessions, team building, site visits, conferences, experience sharing, among others. Registrations for participants will take place on Wednesday, February 1 from 8 am to 6 pm at the Botanical Garden, where the forum will take place. Noted that the closing of this day provides for the adoption and signing of a memorandum of understanding between the various administrative management bodies of African economic zones. Then the creation of an association of African Special Economic Zones at the end of the meeting.
