Thirty (30) members of the Anti-Counterfeiting and Fraud Association received training on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from the High Authority for Good Governance (HABG).

The training session for agents of the Ivory Coast Association for the Fight against Fraud and Counterfeiting (ALCFC-CI) was opened by Henri Augustin Aka, Secretary General of the Haute Autorité pour la Bonne Gouvernance (HABG) . According to N'golo COULIBALY, President of the High Authority for Good Governance (HABG), this training will specifically enable members of the organization to better understand the concept of corruption; to know the measures to prevent acts of corruption and similar offences; to distinguish acts of corruption from similar offences as well as the penalties incurred; to know the methods of referring cases to the HABG and the procedure for dealing with complaints and denunciations; know the regime for the protection of witnesses and whistleblowers.

According to him, this training was an opportunity for ALCFC-CI to learn more about the system for preventing and fighting corruption, set up by the State of Côte d'Ivoire. For him, the work of these associations is primarily to make people aware of fraud and counterfeiting and to denounce any act of fraud and counterfeiting because today, the economy suffers from these two scourges.
