During a ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel on Monday, January 30, 2023, the Minister of Financial Services of Mauritius, Mahen Seeruttun officially launched a virtual digital platform. This platform will facilitate the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing within the Organisation des États d' Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique (OEACP).

The virtual platform is part of sharing, solidarity and partnership between OEACP member countries. According to the minister, “this platform will facilitate the sharing of experience and best practices as well as the strengthening of capacities and cooperation agreements on good fiscal governance and the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.”

As Mahen Seeruttun explained, this project was validated by the OEACP representatives participating in this workshop on combating money laundering and terrorist financing at the Intercontinental Hotel.
